American Bureau of Shipping's environmental notation. ENVIRO covers MARPOL-plus operational compliance; ENVIRO+ adds advanced protections for air, water, and waste. Widely adopted on US-flag and cruise fleets.

ENVIRO = all four baseline items. ENVIRO+ = ENVIRO plus all four advanced items. Formal notation issued only after ABS surveyor audit and operational evidence. UWN (underwater radiated noise) is a recent addition (2022) driven by cruise and research-ship demand.
