Checking a calculator result
Each calculator names the instrument and clause behind its formula, so a result can be checked against the source without asking the site. Calculators on the current template also print the test cases they pass, with a link that loads each case’s inputs. How calculators are checked explains both.
For a figure that will be used in a regulated outcome, the authority is the issuing body: the flag administration or recognized organization for a MARPOL Annex VI Statement of Compliance, and the accredited verifier for an EU MRV emissions report under Regulation (EU) 2015/757.
What the site holds about you
The site stores no form submissions, messages or accounts, and calculator inputs never leave the browser. The analytics, advertising and server-log data it does process, and the rights that apply to it under the GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018, are listed in the Privacy policy.
