Baltic Dirty Tanker Index

The BDTI, the Baltic Exchange’s daily freight assessment for crude-oil and dirty-product tankers. It aggregates Worldscale-quoted route assessments across VLCC, Suezmax, and Aframax trades into a single index, and provides the settlement reference for dirty tanker forward freight agreements. Read alongside the clean tanker index, it separates the crude market from the refined-products market.
