NUS-based maritime research center.
The Singapore research and graduate-teaching unit of the National University of Singapore, also listed here as the NUS Centre for Maritime Studies, established in 2003. It runs the MSc in Maritime Technology and Management and applied research in shipping economics, port operations, and maritime law, supporting Singapore’s role as a global maritime hub. Its work is postgraduate and policy-facing, not certificate-of-competency training under STCW 1978 as amended (Manila 2010).
