French production yacht brand.

Dufour Yachts is a French production sailboat builder founded in 1964 by naval architect Michel Dufour in La Rochelle. The first boat, the 21 ft Sylphe, sold over 400 units from 1964 to 1974. By 1973 Dufour led French fiberglass-sailboat exports, employing over 400 craftsmen and shipping to 40 countries. The yard builds cruising monohulls from roughly 30 to 60 ft and remains based in La Rochelle. Fountaine Pajot acquired Dufour in 2018; it continues as a separate brand.
