Printed maritime paper kept for collection and research: passenger lists, sailing schedules, ship menus, deck plans, baggage labels, tickets, and launch programs. Such items document daily operation of liners and ports that ledgers and logbooks omit. Maritime museums and archives, including the Merseyside Maritime Museum and the V&A’s ocean-liner holdings, preserve these short-lived documents as primary evidence of passenger experience, company branding, and trade routes.
