Fleet management software is an integrated shipboard and shore application suite that runs a ship operator’s technical, safety, and procurement processes from one database. Core modules cover the planned maintenance system, spare-parts and stores inventory, purchasing and requisitioning, the safety management system with incident and nonconformity reporting, dry-dock and survey planning, certificate and crewing records, and KPI dashboards. Established products in this category exist, but a named market leader is not asserted here. The software connects ship and office over a replicating database so that maintenance, defects, and stock are visible ashore in close to real time.
