IOPP

The International Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate attests that an oil tanker or ship of 400 GT and above complies with MARPOL Annex I, and is issued after survey for a period not exceeding five years under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification. Its Form A or Form B supplement records the ship’s oil-pollution-prevention equipment, including the oily-water separator, monitoring system, and tank arrangement.
