Smart Port

A smart port digitally orchestrates terminal and port operations, fusing sensor, AIS, and equipment data through a Port Community System to coordinate berth allocation, gate flow, yard moves, and landside transport. The aim is to cut ship and truck waiting time, energy use, and emissions while lifting throughput. Building blocks include OCR gates, automated stacking equipment, real-time kinematic positioning for automation, and just-in-time arrival coordination with inbound ships.
