FAME Biodiesel (B100) - Well-to-Wake

FAME biodiesel well-to-wake intensity under FuelEU Maritime: enter the certified E from the Proof of Sustainability and Annex II converts it with Cf 2.834 and LCV 37 MJ/kg (RED Annex III). Without a certificate, or from food and feed crops such as rapeseed, Art. 10(1)(a) counts it as MDO/MGO, 90.77 gCO₂e/MJ.

FuelFAME

No certified E entered. Under Art. 10(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1805 it is counted as the least favorable fossil pathway for its fuel type, MDO/MGO, ISO 8217 grades DMX to DMB: 90.77 gCO₂e/MJ, no reward factor.

WtW factors include upstream extraction, processing, transport, plus tank-to-wake combustion and relevant CH₄/N₂O. FuelEU Maritime Annex II publishes the authoritative defaults.
