Methanol - Well-to-Wake by pathway

Methanol well-to-wake intensity under FuelEU Maritime. Grey methanol takes the Annex II natural-gas default, 103.15 gCO₂e/MJ. Bio-methanol takes the certified E from its Proof of Sustainability, and e-methanol, an RFNBO, takes E and eu; without a compliant certificate either is counted as grey methanol under Art. 10(1).

WtW factors include upstream extraction, processing, transport, plus tank-to-wake combustion and relevant CH₄/N₂O. FuelEU Maritime Annex II publishes the authoritative defaults.
