International Safety Guide for Inland Navigation Tank Barges and Terminals.
ISGINTT, the International Safety Guide for Inland Navigation Tank-barges and Terminals, is the recommended-practice manual for safe transfer of petroleum, chemical, and liquefied-gas cargoes between inland tank barges and terminals or other vessels. It was initiated in 2006 by the CCNR (Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine) and OCIMF (the Oil Companies International Marine Forum), with the second edition published in 2023. ISGINTT is the inland-waterway counterpart to ISGOTT (the seagoing tanker-terminal guide). It supplies the ship-shore and ship-barge safety checklists, electrostatic and venting precautions, and gas-detection and mooring guidance for the cargo-transfer interface. It supplements, not replaces, legal requirements such as the ADN dangerous-goods regime.
