International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate under MARPOL Annex IV.
The International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate attests that a ship complies with MARPOL Annex IV, and is required on ships of 400 GT and above and those certified to carry more than 15 persons on international voyages. It is issued after survey for up to five years and records the ship’s sewage treatment plant, comminuting and disinfecting system, or holding tank arrangement.
