Kongsberg K-Sim

Kongsberg Maritime’s family of maritime training simulators covering bridge/navigation, engine room, cargo and ballast, and offshore/DP operations. K-Sim products are used by maritime academies and certified centers to deliver STCW simulator training; the simulator hardware and software are type-approved against class standards such as DNV-ST-0033, which grades full-mission to part-task rigs as Class A through S. It is a named commercial product line, not a regulatory term; the governing standards are STCW and the class simulator-certification rules.
