NASA browsing tool for satellite imagery.
NASA Worldview is the interactive browse tool of NASA’s Earth Observing System Data and Information System, EOSDIS, that lets users view full-resolution global satellite imagery within hours of acquisition. It serves more than 1,000 layers through the Global Imagery Browse Services, GIBS, including MODIS and VIIRS true-color and chlorophyll imagery, sea-ice extent, sea-surface temperature, and aerosol products. Worldview supports a time slider for animation and rapid event review of storms, sea-ice breakup, algal blooms, and dust. Analysts use it for quick-look situational awareness and to identify scenes before pulling the underlying data archives.
