UN Decade of Ocean Science

The UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021 to 2030), led by IOC-UNESCO, is a global framework to align ocean science with the knowledge needed to reverse the decline in ocean health and deliver the 2030 Agenda. It organizes endorsed programmes and challenges around a clean, healthy, productive, predicted, and accessible ocean, mobilizing data systems such as the global ocean observing and biodiversity networks.
