Yale Cordage

Yale Cordage is a US manufacturer of high-performance synthetic rope, founded in 1950 by O. Sherman Yale and based in Saco, Maine. It started supplying nylon line to the Maine lobster-fishing industry and now engineers braided ropes from fibers such as Dyneema, Spectra, and polyester for marine running rigging, arborist, utility, and industrial use. Yale makes single-braid and double-braid constructions for halyards, sheets, and high-load lines, with a second plant in Salisbury, North Carolina.
