Yanmar four-stroke marine engine.

The Yanmar 6EY26W is a medium-speed four-stroke marine diesel with a 260 mm bore and 385 mm stroke, an inline six-cylinder rated about 1,471 to 1,920 kW at 750 rpm, with a mean effective pressure of 1.9 to 2.5 MPa. It serves both propulsion and generator duty on coastal and ocean-going vessels, burning heavy fuel oil or marine gas oil. The 6EY26W meets IMO Tier II, with the EY26 family offering Tier III through selective catalytic reduction. A 6EY26LW genset variant is offered for auxiliary power. Yanmar of Japan builds the EY series for the merchant fleet.
