Annual Survey

An annual survey verifies that a ship’s hull, equipment, and certificated systems remain in compliance and is carried out within a window of three months before to three months after each anniversary date of the certificate. It is the lightest of the periodic surveys under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification, sitting between the more thorough intermediate and renewal surveys.
