Topaz Dinghy

The Topaz is a range of roto-molded polyethylene dinghies from Topper International (later RS Sailing), aimed at sailing schools and family use, with models from single-handers to two- and three-person boats around 3.0 to 4.3 m, some fitted with trapezes and asymmetric spinnakers. The hulls are durable three-layer polyethylene rather than GRP, sold as a modular trainer system rather than a single strict racing one-design. The Topaz is not an Olympic class.
