Wood Pussy

The Wood Pussy is an American one-design catboat designed by Phil Rhodes in 1950, 4.11 m (13 ft 6 in) long with a single gaff or marconi catboat sail set on a mast stepped well forward, a centerboard, and a beamy shallow hull. Built originally by the Beaton yard and others on the US east coast, it is a small single- or two-person day-sailer rather than a racing class. The Wood Pussy is not an Olympic class and survives as a vintage catboat fleet.
