Yorkshire Mariners' Charity

Yorkshire Mariners’ Charity is a UK regional seafarer-welfare body providing grants and support to merchant seafarers, fishers, and their dependents connected to Yorkshire who face hardship, illness, or old age. It belongs to the network of British maritime charities coordinated through the Merchant Navy Welfare Board, the umbrella body for UK seafarer welfare. Such regional almonry charities deliver means-tested financial assistance that sits outside, and supplements, the statutory entitlements of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006.
