GENCON 94

BIMCO’s Uniform General Charter 1994, for decades the default dry-cargo voyage charter party for parcels that have no trade-specific form. Its printed clauses cover freight, loading and discharging responsibility, laytime, demurrage, lien, and the owner’s responsibility regime, with the commercial terms filled into the boxes of Part I. GENCON 1994 was superseded by GENCON 2022 but remains in active use across the bulk trades.
