Information Fusion Centre Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR)

The Information Fusion Centre, Indian Ocean Region, hosted by the Indian Navy at Gurugram near New Delhi and operational since December 2018. It builds maritime domain awareness across the Indian Ocean by fusing white-shipping data, AIS, and partner reporting, and hosts international liaison officers from partner navies. The center shares incident and threat information on piracy, smuggling, illegal fishing, and other maritime crime, linking to regional hubs such as Singapore’s IFC and to operators including UKMTO and the Yaounde architecture.
