Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC)

The Joint Maritime Information Center, a cell run by the Combined Maritime Forces in Bahrain that serves as the liaison point between CMF naval task forces and the commercial shipping industry. The JMIC issues maritime security advisories, threat assessments, and warnings, and channels industry queries to the right operational center. It works alongside UKMTO and the fusion centers to share awareness on piracy, smuggling, and regional threats such as those in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, helping merchant operators make routing and self-protection decisions.
