Korean Register Academy

The Korean Register Academy is the training arm of the Korean Register (KR), the classification society founded in 1960 and headquartered in Busan, South Korea, a full member of the International Association of Classification Societies. The academy delivers technical courses for surveyors, shipyard and shipowner staff, and auditors on KR class rules, IMO conventions, and ISM/ISPS auditing. It is continuing professional development, not an STCW pre-sea certificate-of-competency program.
