Load list
C3. Logistics, freight forwarding and multimodal tradeDefinition
Container load list for a service or vessel.
A load list is the carrier or terminal document naming every container or shipment booked for loading onto a specific vessel and voyage at a port, used to build the loading sequence and the stowage plan. It carries the container number, ISO type, gross weight or verified gross mass, port of discharge, special handling (reefer set point, out-of-gauge, dangerous-goods class), and the booking reference. Planners sort it by discharge port and weight to feed the bay plan and the terminal operating system, and units without a valid VGM or with missing documents are pulled before loading. The load list is the input; the realized stowage plan and the COARRI load report are the output.
