London Maritime Cluster

The London maritime-services concentration, the world’s leading center for shipping professional services. It groups marine insurance at Lloyd’s of London, shipbroking and freight indices at the Baltic Exchange, admiralty law and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, ship finance, and the International Group of P&I Clubs. London hosts the IMO headquarters on the Albert Embankment, the Baltic and International Maritime Council’s UK presence, and London International Shipping Week, sustaining the city’s role despite owning relatively little tonnage itself.
