Long Beach Race Week

A Southern California keelboat regatta hosted jointly by Long Beach Yacht Club and Alamitos Bay Yacht Club each June off Long Beach. It mixes one-design and handicap (PHRF and ORR) divisions over three days of buoy racing in the reliable summer sea breeze. The event is a fixture of the West Coast summer calendar, drawing sportboats, mid-size cruiser-racers, and one-design classes. It is one of the larger inshore regattas on the Los Angeles coast.
