Naval Aviation Enterprise

A US Navy and Marine Corps governance body that aligns the people, aircraft, training, and maintenance of naval aviation to deliver ready carrier air wings and squadrons at lower cost. Established in 2004, it is a cross-organizational management forum, not an operational command, bringing together the fleet, systems commands, and type commanders to set readiness priorities and resolve resource trade-offs. It owns no aircraft and fights no battles; it manages the readiness production line that supplies aviation forces to the operational fleet.
