UK Treasury counterpart to OFAC.

The UK Treasury body that implements and enforces financial sanctions, the UK counterpart to OFAC. Created in 2016 within HM Treasury, OFSI maintains the UK consolidated list of designated persons, issues licenses and guidance, and can impose monetary penalties for breaches under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and the Policing and Crime Act 2017. Since EU-exit the UK runs autonomous sanctions regimes that OFSI administers, publishing notices on each designation change.
