LEO satellite broadband service.
OneWeb Maritime is the maritime broadband service on the OneWeb low-earth-orbit constellation, which operates several hundred satellites at about 1,200 km altitude in Ku-band for low-latency global connectivity. OneWeb sells capacity wholesale through maritime service providers rather than direct to most vessels, and following the 2023 combination with Eutelsat it is marketed under Eutelsat OneWeb. It targets fleets wanting LEO low latency, often bonded with GEO VSAT in a multi-orbit setup. Coverage extends toward the poles as the constellation completed its initial global build-out.
