SNAME

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, the US-based professional body founded in 1893, advances naval architecture, marine and offshore engineering, and ship operation. SNAME publishes technical standards and the Principles of Naval Architecture series, runs technical committees, and is the American counterpart to the UK’s RINA and IMarEST. It hosts the long-running SNAME Maritime Convention.
