Zone Captain, Stella Maris

Stella Maris, the Apostleship of the Sea, is the Catholic Church’s international seafarers’ welfare agency, with around 230 chaplains in more than 300 ports across 41 countries. Each diocese appoints a port chaplain who coordinates teams of volunteer ship visitors; regional coordinators oversee groupings of ports. Its structure runs from national director to regional coordinator to port chaplain and volunteer ship visitor, delivering pastoral and practical care to crews of any faith.
