CREWMAN A 2025

CREWMAN A 2025 is the BIMCO standard crew management agreement on a cost-plus-fee basis, in which the owner appoints the crew managers as agents to provide crew management services and reimburses the actual crew costs plus a management fee. The Documentary Committee adopted it on 4 March 2025, replacing the 2009 edition and carrying over the relevant updates from SHIPMAN 2024, including predelivery crew services, owner access to crew data through the managers’ system, and transfer of crew records on termination. Under the cost-plus model the crew remain in the owner’s economic risk, distinguishing it from CREWMAN B, where the managers employ the crew as principals for a lump sum.
