EEXI Technical File

The EEXI Technical File documents how an existing ship of 400 GT and above meets the Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index requirement under MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 25, in force from 1 November 2022 with first compliance verified at the first annual or renewal survey after 1 January 2023. It records the attained EEXI, the parameters used in its calculation, and any power-limitation measures such as engine power limitation or shaft power limitation applied to bring the attained value below the required value, including the means of verifying the limit.
