Garbage Management Plan

A Garbage Management Plan is required under MARPOL Annex V Regulation 10 on every ship of 100 GT and above and every ship certified to carry 15 or more persons. It sets written procedures for collecting, storing, processing, and disposing of garbage, designates the person in charge, and reflects the discharge prohibitions tightened by the 2013 Annex V revision. It is paired with the Garbage Record Book.
