Two-person Jack Holt designed dinghy.
The GP14 (General Purpose 14 foot) is a two-person dinghy designed by Jack Holt in 1949 at the request of Yachting World magazine, 4.27 m (14 ft) long with a centerboard, mainsail, jib, and spinnaker. Intended as an affordable family and racing boat, it carries no trapeze and is a strict one-design sailed mostly with hiking. World Sailing recognizes it as an International Class with strong fleets in the UK and Ireland. It has never been Olympic but holds world championships.
