Ian Proctor-designed two-person family dinghy.

The Wayfarer is a 4.82 m (15 ft 10 in) two-person dinghy designed by Ian Proctor in 1957 for sailing schools, family use, and dinghy cruising, with a stable hull, a centerboard, and a mainsail, jib, and spinnaker but no trapeze. It is a strict one-design with World Sailing International Class status, known for open-water cruises including North Sea crossings. Fleets are strong in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and North America. The Wayfarer is not an Olympic class.
