Queensland Maritime Industry Training

Vocational maritime training delivered in Queensland, Australia, including by TAFE Queensland as a registered training organization. Courses cover coastal and near-coastal seafaring, marine engine driving, and deck and engineering ratings, leading to AMSA-issued domestic certificates of competency under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law and AMSA Marine Orders, and to STCW-aligned safety training. The training serves Queensland’s fishing, tug, ferry, and offshore sectors as well as the international fleet trades.
