The Sailors’ Society is an international maritime welfare charity founded in 1818, providing chaplaincy, crisis response, and wellness programs to seafarers and their families across global ports. Its work spans ship visiting, the Crisis Response Network for casualties and piracy, and seafarer mental-health training, complementing the Mission to Seafarers and Stella Maris. The Maritime Labour Convention 2006 recognizes such shore welfare services in Regulation 4.4.
