An American heritage organization founded in 1963 as the Titanic Enthusiasts of America and renamed the Titanic Historical Society, based at Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. It is the oldest organization devoted to the RMS Titanic, which sank on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg on her maiden voyage. The society runs a museum, publishes the journal The Titanic Commutator, and gathered survivor interviews before the survivors died.
