Xtreme Sailing Series

A stadium-style catamaran racing circuit run from 2007, originally as the iShares Cup, sailed first in 40 ft Extreme 40 catamarans and from 2016 in foiling GC32 catamarans. Short, fast races were run close to shore inside marked stadium courses at city venues across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia so spectators could watch from the waterfront. OC Sport organized it. The series wound down after the 2018 season as the GC32 Racing Tour took over the foiling-catamaran calendar.
