Kiteboard, IKA Formula Kite

Formula Kite is the foiling kiteboard class of the International Kiteboarding Association and the Olympic kiteboarding equipment introduced for the 2024 Games. The rider is towed by a power kite while flying on a hydrofoil board, reaching very high speeds and sailing remarkably high upwind. It is a development class within a box of rules rather than a strict one-design, so riders tune kites, boards, and foils. The event runs as separate men’s and women’s competitions.
