- Tie Rod
- Long stud connecting bedplate, A-frame, and cylinder block of a two-stroke engine, tensioned hydraulically and measured at major surveys.
- Top Bracing
- Hydraulic or mechanical lateral support between engine top platform and hull structure to suppress H-mode vibration.
- Torque-Speed Diagram
- Engine load diagram defining permissible operating area bounded by torque-rich and speed-rich limits.
