- Difference between mean high and low tide.
- Tide gauge
- Instrument recording sea-surface elevation.
- Tie Rod
- Long stud connecting bedplate, A-frame, and cylinder block of a two-stroke engine, tensioned hydraulically and measured at major surveys.

- Trailing arm
- TSHD suction pipe assembly that trails behind or alongside the vessel along the seabed.

- Piled bridging structure that connects shore to an offshore jetty head.
- Tribar
- Three-legged concrete armour unit developed in the United States in the 1950s for rubble mound breakwater armouring.
- TSHD
- Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger, examples include Jan De Nul Cristobal Colon, Boskalis Helios.

- Under keel clearance, static or dynamic.
- Underkeel clearance criterion
- Minimum allowable UKC for a port, set by combining squat, wave allowance, and safety margins.
- Unloading rate
- Cargo throughput of a quay expressed in tonnes or TEU per hour, used to size berths and aprons.
