- Air gap
- Vertical distance from the fuel surface to the top of the tank, used in ullage measurement.
- Alignment laser
- Optical tool used by service technicians to verify gearbox to generator coupling alignment after drivetrain repair.
- Ampelmann A-type

- Post lay seabed restoration over a buried export or array cable, often performed by trailing suction hopper or jet sled.
- Balance of plant

- Cable repair vessel
- Specialized ship equipped with cable tanks, jointing chambers, and a stern wheel or chute for recovering, jointing, and re laying subsea cables.
- Calibration certificate
- Document certifying calibration of cargo or bunker measurement systems.
- Capacity factor
- Ratio of actual annual energy production to the maximum possible if a turbine operated at rated power continuously.
- Catamaran
- Twin-hull vessel with high transverse stability.
- CBM
- Cubic meter, freight volume measure.
- Centreline shaft alignment
- Optical or laser based check of the geometric alignment of generator and gearbox shafts on a turbine drivetrain.
- Charter day rate
- Daily fee paid by a wind farm owner to the CTV or SOV owner under a time charter.
- CO2 fire suppression
- Fixed fire fighting system in turbine nacelles, charged with carbon dioxide and inhibited during technician occupancy.
- Cold work
- Maintenance activity performed without spark or flame sources and outside hot work permit controls.
- Commissioning SOV
- CSOV variant of the service operation vessel optimized for the commissioning phase, with enhanced spare parts storage and tool workshops.
